Why can't I find the Surfshark Antivirus on my macOS?

This article explains why you might not see Surfshark Antivirus on your macOS device.


NOTE: To use Surfshark Antivirus, you must have an active Surfshark One or Surfshark One+ subscription.

 

Why can’t I find Surfshark Antivirus

Surfshark Antivirus on macOS is only available if the app was downloaded as a .DMG installer directly from the Surfshark website.

 

If Surfshark was installed from the Mac App Store, the Antivirus feature will not appear.

 

What to do if Surfshark Antivirus is missing
