My account is still not activated after making a payment

Payments verifications may take up to 24 hours. Usually, they come through in less than 40 minutes.

Your account might be inactive until they are processed. When you purchase a Surfshark subscription, you don't need any additional activation, and your account will become active as soon as our system accepts the payment.

If a message asks you to pay again and there are no payments on your account, or your plan is inactive, it can also mean that your transaction was not completed. Therefore, your payment did not go through.


If that's the case, check your account billing history with the following steps:

  1. Open the Surfshark login page and Log in to your account.

  2. Click on My Account at the top right and then click Subscription. You will then see your current plan and all of your current payment information below.
