In this article, you will learn how to set Surfshark Search as your default search engine.
To use Surfshark Search, you have to get a Surfshark One subscription, which you can purchase on Surfshark's pricing page.

- Right-click in the address bar, and select Manage search engines and Site Search.
- Scroll down to the Site Search section and click on Add.
- Once you click on Add, a new window will pop-up. Fill in the information as follows:
Search engine: Surfshark
Shortcut: Surfsearch
URL: https://search.surfshark.com/results?query=%s
Once done, click on Add again. - Now, click the three dots next to the Surfshark Search listing.
- Click on Make default, and that's it – Search is now your default search engine.
How to set up Search as your default search engine on Edge
- Click the three dots at the top right of the browser.
- Select Settings.
- Select Privacy, Search, and Services.
- In the list that appears, scroll down and look for Services. There, click on Address bar and search.
- Select Manage search engines.
- Click on Add.
- Once you click on Add, a new window will pop-up. Fill in the information as follows:
Search engine: Surfshark
Shortcut: Surfsearch
URL: https://search.surfshark.com/results?query=%s
Once done, click on Add again. - Now, you'll be able to see Surfshark in the available search engine list. Click the three dots next to the Surfshark listing.
- Click Make default, and that's it – Search is now your default search engine.
